Truvant Story
Owners of Truvant Café franchises are fiercely independent and will try almost anything to get new customers. The problem for Truvant Corporation was that many of the marketing tactics that franchisees were trying conflicted with brand standards, cost too much or didn't work.
Truvant's head of marketing called his local Safeguard consultant to discuss needs, challenges, opportunities and budget.
In the end, the Safeguard consultant recommended a three-pronged approach that would inspire local residents to visit the café for the first time, give these new customers reason to come back again and again, and provide an incentive for existing customers to tell their friends.
The marketing mix that put the plan into action included:
- 4' x 8' Printed Vinyl Banners that would catch the eye and appetite of those walking and driving past each café location.
- A Postcard Marketing Campaign that would reach all nearby residents and businesses with offers for both lunch and dinner specials.
- A loyalty program using simple Referral Cards that provided incentives for both those referring and being referred.
All pieces were designed within Truvant Café Corporation brand standards. Just like the menu, ingredients and recipes; everything about the Truvant customer experience was consistent.
Within a month, franchise owners were seeing a significant uptick in business.
